Directed, produced, and edited by Ryan Behrmann. A short documentary about Bernie Marks, whose Bar Mitzvah was delayed 66 years due to his imprisonment in a concentration camp during the Holocaust. The film premiered at the Sacramento Film and Music Festival and screened at the Sacramento Jewish Film Festival. Read about the film in the Sacramento Press.
Produced for Comstock’s Business Magazine, SNAP was a series highlighting interesting careers. Ryan served as a video journalist, producing episodes for the series. This episode focuses on the U.S. Coast Guard based at McClellan Airfield and follows Petty Officer 2nd Class Amanda Hansen, an avionics electrical technician and navigator on the C-130.
Produced for Comstock’s Business Magazine, Emerge highlights young business owners. Hosted by Mikhail Chernyasky, this episode features a conversation with Lucky Rodrigues, owner of Insight Coffee Roasters, about his journey as an emerging entrepreneur. Ryan served as the camera operator and editor for the series.
